Tips & Tricks Care Guide

ALWAYS FOLLOW THE CARE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE GARMENT LABELING!!!

If you are in a hurry and this extra step isn't feasible, then commit the following instructions to heart. This will help aid in the preservation of your investment.

**The following instructions SHOULD NOT be used in place of the garment's labeling instructions.**

DON’T DELAY Wash Immediately

Bacteria and Mildew that linger can leave behind a funk that will difficult to remove. If you leave it to sit in your hamper for long enough, the scent may transfer to your other items. After an especially intense workout where you break a lot of sweat, it’s a good idea to wash your clothes immediately after or hang dry until you can. Your clothes will thank you for it!

AVOID BLEACH & FABRIC SOFTENER

Using fabric softener can destroy the fabric and elasticity of your activewear. Avoid bleach altogether when you wash your activewear!

BE GENTLE

When possible, hand wash your activewear. Even though the material is quite durable, multiple washes can start to break down the material, not to mention that the speed of the washing machine can be harsh on your clothes. Since hand washing isn't always feasible, machine washing on the gentle or delicate cycle will be much appreciated by your clothing and your wallet. If you don’t have time to hand wash, be sure to remove any pads or other loose pieces that shouldn’t go in the washing machine to prevent any mishaps and tearing.

WASH WITH SIMILAR FABRICS & COLORS

Firstly, TURN INSIDE OUT! Reversing your clothing helps to prevent pilling and fading of your precious activewear. Wash with like fabrics and with like colors to avoid dye transfer. Wash in COLD water. Washing activewear in hot water can cause certain stains (especially blood and sweat) to set in the clothing. Sticking to cold water helps keeps those stains from becoming a permanent fixture.

HANG DRY

After you remove your clothes from the wash, hang to dry in a well-ventilated area for best results. Hang away from the direct sunlight, as the sun makes color fade much faster. Tumble drying is quick but can also damage your clothing. The heat can weaken the material which can lead to holes and tears in the clothing. Heat can also cause permanent warping and misshaping of the material, affecting how they fit.

FUN FACT

Adding 1 Tablespoon of salt on the FIRST WASH will help to seal in that fabulous color for future wear.
